It is the mission of Great Waters Music Festival to present uniquely outstanding musical and educational events that appeal to a wide variety of tastes, and that enrich the cultural lives of those living and visiting the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.  Against the backdrop of America's first summer resort town of Wolfeboro, the Festival successfully connects world class culture with small town community.

We've come a long way since that first classical presentation by the Worcester Chorus to an audience of 300 in a local church more than 20 years ago. The Festival has distinguished itself by combining an idyllic setting with a diverse range of impeccable concerts. A careful and sophisticated blend of tradition and innovation has resulted in rapid growth and popularity. With each year, the Festival continues to build and grow, setting new ticket sales and inquiry records along the way.

Non-profit music festivals like Great Waters cannot even come close to covering the costs involved through the sale of tickets. In fact, ticket sales cover about one third of the costs each year. We work hard at controlling costs, signing sponsors and conducting other fund raising activities in order to maintain reasonable ticket prices so that everyone is able to attend and experience Great Waters.

Throughout its history, the Great Waters Music Festival has relied on its audience and donors to help support performances and music education programs of the finest quality. The Great Waters seed was planted, nurtured and is now flourishing because of the generosity of people like you, people who support causes that truly enhance our quality of Lakes Region life. There's no doubt about it, your support helps us present such high quality musical experiences. And for that, we cannot thank you enough.
