On May 5, 2020, people worldwide are coming together to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen communities at the grassroots level. Will you be one of them?

We were one of those participating organizations, and we thank you for your continued support. In this time of uncertainty, there's a fundamental truth that gives us hope - that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, give back, and heal.

On December 1, 2020, we are asking for your support on this global day of giving! GivingTuesday emphasizes opportunities to give back to local communities and causes in a safe way that allows for social connections and kindness, even while practicing physical distancing.

June 9th is another opportunity to connect with our community the belief that the value of performing arts and music for the region. It can heal, bring people together, drive self-reflection, open your eye, ears, and heart.

It plays a critical role in healthcare, therapy, times of despair, and bringing people together. The Lakes Region is lucky to have Great Waters. We would love your support.


DOUBLE your dollars but donating at 6:01 pm. For NH Gives 2020, a site-wide match - made possible by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and its Thomas W. Haas Fund and John F. Swope Fund – of $250,000 will be available. While the funds last, each online donation made at to any participating nonprofit will be matched 1:1 up to $1,000 per donation for the first $250,000 given during the 24-hour event.

The Summer of Our Intermission

In these extraordinary times, Great Waters stands with our community partners impacted by the pandemic, and together express our gratitude for the outpouring of support for each other and our world.  More importantly, we want to thank you for your uplifting notes and past support. You’ve made a difference—it helps to move us forward. 

Although our current season has been interrupted and we are in an extended “Intermission,” we are working hard to plan our 2021 Season, stay in touch with the community through our social media, and are taking this opportunity to engage more directly with many of our patrons and partners....
