Are concerts held rain or shine?
Yes, just about all of our concerts are held in our acoustic pavilion which is weather-proof. For the Folk Festival, Pinckney Boathouse and Village Players Theater are also weather-proof. The exception is the Cate Park Bandstand.  During August, evenings can be cool.

How is the seating arranged?
The acoustic pavilion is divided into six sections (VIP, Premium, A, B, C, and D): VIP is the closest to the stage; Section D is the farthest away. A seating chart is available on our website.

Molded resin chairs with arms and tall backs are setup in a staggered formation. No seats are elevated. There are no visual obstructions.

Ticket-holders are permitted to sit outside the immediate area of the pavilion within the designated fenced-in areas. The pavilion is located on the beautiful grounds of Brewster Academy and on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. The lawn can sometimes be damp. Picnic blankets are allowed as are pre-concert picnics! If you don't want to bring your own gourmet picnic, try one of ours!
