Festival Chorus & Workshop Descriptions, Schedule, and Registration Form

The Great Waters Music Festival annually brings together over 100 selected singers from the Eastern Seaboard for an exciting musical experience rehearsing and performing choral masterpieces.

Under the baton of Dr. Gerald R. Mack, distinguished conductor and educator, the Festival Chorus, professional Festival Symphony Orchestra, and outstanding guest soloists Jayne West, soprano, and Thomas Jones, baritone, will present a unique program of great opera love songs and choruses, outstanding folk song arrangements and Broadway favorites. Music by Verdi, Bizet, Barber, Copland, Bernstein, Porter, Kern plus others will be featured.

The performance will be presented in our unique 900 seat acoustic pavilion on the shores of beautiful Lake Winnipesauke on the Brewster Academy campus in Wolfeboro, NH.

Festival Chorus participants must have extensive choral and musical training and learn all music before arriving. Rehearsals are intensive and designed to provide an in-depth musical experience. Registration is selective and singers are evaluated on their musical experience.

Massachusetts music teachers are eligible to receive in service credit for participation in the Festival Chorus.

JOIN US for an inspiring experience rehearsing and performing these marvelous musical compositions. It will be a weekend of musical growth, fun and fellowship.
